Going Homeless (Third Time Lucky) & Following Your Gut Instinct

A crucial lesson I’ve learned in my wealth building journey.

BTW: if you’ve been around for the past few years - this is not our first rodeo🤠no set destination in mind & no expectations going into this

✨It was about 3 months ago, when we heard “it’s time” from God.

And before I knew it…The house is a mess, furniture is disappearing by the minute (including our favourite pot🥲), and the car is filling up.

Ahh, the adventure continues!

Every time we’ve made a move like this, our wealth has compounded - in the form of money, experiences and memories.

So, I’ve been contemplating on this, wondering if it’s down to the fact that it’s a radical shift in environment.

You’ve likely heard the sentiment that your environment dictates your success.

It’s got truth to it, but it’s always felt incomplete to me.

Because what I’ve realised is that you change first, then your physical environment follows.

For two years, this place felt like home, and then overnight, it didn’t. The walls didn’t move, the streets didn’t shift…But my story about what this place meant to me, did.

And concurrently, the next “home” felt decided-even though I’d never seen it. I see this pattern elsewhere too, especially in the way I set goals.

My relationship towards something (be it a business, investment or lifestyle goal) always changed first, before the physical “evidence” changed for me.

So, if you want your reality to shift, shift your stories first.

Now, back to packing (and crying about my favourite pot accidentally being sold)😂
